Goal
Present basic knowledge and skills regarding handling of control room tasks in an emergency situation, and how stress reactions can affect individual handling capabilities

  • Understanding and recognising stress reactions
  • Communication in an emergency situation
  • Decision making and pitfalls
  • Group dynamics and possible impact on personnel
  • Practical exercises

The course will give practical training based on the installations’/facilities’ own Emergency Response Manual.

The course may be conducted at the customer’s own simulator, or at our generic process simulator in Stavanger.

Prerequisites
No prior knowledge necessary but control room experience is considered an advantage
