Goal
Upon completion of this course, the participant shall be able to participate as a member of the emergency management organisation within his/her company, and have an overview and understanding of emergency preparedness in the petroleum industry.

Content / Topics
Lecturing and simulation/practical exercises within:

  • Organising emergency preparedness
  • Effective leadership in emergency situations
  • Cooperation – roles and responsibilities
  • Mental reactions and coping with stress
  • Routines in the emergency room – practical training

Prerequisites
It would be advantageous if participants have general knowledge regarding their emergency organisation and emergency equipment.
